The UK is prepared to move forward with using the total value of immobilized Russian funds to bolster the Ukrainian war effort, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer has declared.

In a shared declaration, the heads of state of the Britain, France, and the Federal Republic of Germany stated that this coordinated action would heighten pressure on Moscow's head Vladimir Putin and urge the Russian Federation to participate in talks.

They clarified that the move would be implemented in close cooperation with the America.

United Kingdom restrictions have frozen more than £25bn of Russian resources since Moscow initiated its comprehensive attack against Ukraine in 2022. However, previously, money allocated to the Ukrainian government using Russian holdings had only been drawn from gains and dividends generated on them.

Sir Keir assured Ukraine's leader Volodymyr Zelensky that the United Kingdom, the French Republic, and Germany were aligned in their goal to advance efforts toward utilizing the total worth of the seized Moscow's national funds to conclude the conflict.

He added that more measures in the coming days and weeks would apply more pressure on the Russian government.

This statement comes after European Union representatives convened in the Danish capital recently to consider employing seized Russia's assets for a 140-billion-euro loan to the Ukrainian nation.

Recently, US President Donald Trump encouraged international partners to seize or utilize seized Russia's holdings, based on news outlets.

The worth of seized Russian assets in the Europe is calculated to be approximately €211bn.

Moscow executed extensive aerial attacks across the Ukrainian territory on Friday, leading to electricity outages in significant regions of Kyiv, Kyiv, and multiple additional areas.

While commending the Britain's firm backing for Kyiv, he noted it should demonstrate clearly that it would participate in the system, as well as enforce further measures on Moscow.
